The exhibition, prepared to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the Republic, was presented to art enthusiasts with a special selection that brings together works from different disciplines of art.

Speaking at the opening, President Öztürkler stated that art is a nation’s respect for its past and faith in its future.

Öztürkler emphasized that the Republic is not only a form of government but also a symbol of a nation’s will for independence and freedom.

Stating that art is one of the most powerful tools reflecting this will, Öztürkler said, “Preserving the values of the Republic and passing them on to future generations is our common responsibility.”

Expressing that the works in the exhibition reflect a cultural memory extending from the past to the present, Öztürkler also stated that the productions of young artists make important contributions to this memory.

Drawing attention to the unifying power of art, Öztürkler stated that such events also strengthen social solidarity.

After the opening ribbon was cut, Speaker of the Republican Assembly, Ziya Öztürkler, toured the exhibition, examined the works one by one, and received information from the artists.

Chatting with visitors, Öztürkler thanked those who contributed to the exhibition.
